You can give three votes per day (the three votes in WAVE BUMPER for example) and come back to vote every day! Thank you
In order for the good ideas of a few to become a chance for everyone, the Fondation pour la Nature et l’ Homme (formerly Fondation Nicolas Hulot) and the Union Nationale des CPIE, are organizing the second edition of the My Positive Impact trophies.
Objective: to bring visibility and credibility to climate solutions, which are still all too often ignored, to help them grow. Selected from more than 200 projects, Wave Bumper is an innovative solution for responding to the damage caused by climatic events. Internet users have until November 30 to support it by voting on mypositiveimpact. org. At the end of the day, a trophy and enough to boost its notoriety thanks to the operation’s media partners.
WAVE BUMPER is a unique system for the prevention of oceanic hazards and coastal protection, composed of:
Removable anti-submersion dams that resist the destructive impacts of waves.
Application of alerts to prevent flood risks and model them with local accuracy.
An implementation protocol software that optimizes the positioning of defense modules on site, according to storm parameters.
My Positive Impact, a unique initiative to make good ideas out of a few lucky ones for everyone
Because many solutions to ecological and climatic challenges already exist, but all too often remain experimental or isolated, My Positive Impact is a national competition that aims to change their scale. The key to achieving this? give them the power they lack: visibility. Because without visibility, it is difficult to build the notoriety and credibility needed to attract investors, skills, outlets, partners… My Positive Impact relies on an important communication system. Media, Internet and social networks, the main powers of this 21st century, are mobilized to bring solutions to the attention of a large public.
How does it work?
1/ Following a call for projects by the FNH and the Union Nationale des CPIE, 31 climate solutions proposed by associations, local authorities and small businesses were selected by a committee of experts from more than 200 applications received.
2/ The solutions are presented to the public on the mypositiveimpact. org website until 30 November 2017.
3/ The public has a credit of 3 votes per day to be freely allocated on this link http://www.mypositiveimpact.org/les-solutions/la-digue-amovible-anti-submersion
4/ The 2 solutions per category with the most votes from the public will be declared winners.
5/ And as a bonus, 3 additional trophies will be awarded by a jury composed of Audrey Pulvar (President of the FNH), Evelyne Dhéliat (head of the TF1 Weather Department), Jean Jouzel (climatalogue), Victorien Erussard (boat Energy Observer), journalists Sylvia Amicone (LCI), Virginie Garin (head of the RTL Quality of Life Department) and Christophe
